Through this partnership, our clients gain access to the Cloud Marketplace—a comprehensive platform that facilitates the purchasing, provisioning, and management of Microsoft cloud subscriptions. This Knowledge Base article will guide you through accessing and utilizing the Cloud Marketplace (called Xvantage) to effectively manage your organization's cloud services.
How to Access and Use the Marketplace
Step 1: Locate the Welcome Email
After Eden Akers creates the initial user account for your organization, a welcome email containing your Marketplace login credentials and activation instructions will be sent to the registered email address.
The email will look like this:
Dear Test User, A user account has been created on the EDEN AKERS CLOUD B.V. portal with your email as a contact. To activate your EDEN AKERS CLOUD B.V. account, click on the following link: https://cp.nl.eu.cloud.im/recover/?secret=<some-secret-information> The link will expire in 48 hours and can be used only once. You will be asked to set your password. You can sign in to the EDEN AKERS CLOUD B.V. control panel using your email: sander.eek@outlook.com. After that, you will be able to use the assigned services. Important: Due to current technical issues, this email may be incorrectly classified as spam. To ensure you receive it:
Check your Junk Email folder in Outlook or Outlook on the web. Microsoft Learn
Review the Quarantine section in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal by visiting Microsoft Defender Quarantine Page
If the email is found in either location, mark it as "Not Junk" or "Not Spam" to prevent future misclassification.
Should you be unable to locate the welcome email, please contact Eden Akers support for assistance in resending the activation details.
Step 2: Access the Marketplace and Secure Your Account
Upon receiving the welcome email, click the provided link to access the Marketplace. After logging in for the first time, you will be prompted to change your temporary password to a new, secure password.
Step 3: Sign In to the Marketplace
After successfully changing your password, the Marketplace will prompt you to sign in.
To sign in:
Enter the email address to which the invitation message was sent.
Use the new password you just created.
This step ensures that your credentials are correctly registered and that your account is fully activated.
Step 4: Verify Access to the Marketplace Dashboard
Upon successful sign-in, you should be directed to the Marketplace Dashboard. This dashboard serves as the central hub for managing your organization's cloud services.
To confirm proper access, compare the layout and available options with the reference screenshot provided below to verify that all necessary components are visible.
