1. Find the Recording in OneDrive

    • After the meeting ends, go to your Microsoft 365 portal ("Apps" in the https://office.com page) and Open OneDrive.

    • Navigate to the folder named "Recordings" (usually located in the root of your OneDrive). Your Teams personal meeting recordings are stored here.

  2. Select the Recording File

    • Locate the relevant recording file (usually named with the meeting title and date).

  3. Share the Recording with a Specific User

    • Right-click the recording file and select "Share".

    • In the sharing window, select "Specific people" under Who would you like this link to work for?

    • Enter the email address of the user you want to give access to.

    • Ensure the permission setting is set to "Can view" or "Can edit".

    • Click on Settings (gear icon) and confirm that "Allow download" is enabled (or “Block download” is NOT checked).

  4. Send the Link

    • Click Send or copy the link and manually share it with the selected user (email, Teams, chat, etc.).

  5. Recipient Downloads the Recording

    • The recipient clicks the shared link, signs in to Microsoft 365 if prompted, and views the file.

    • They click on "Download" to save the meeting recording (MP4) locally.

Tips and Reminders:

  • Only the meeting organizer or host can access and share the recording from OneDrive.

  • If the recipient cannot download, double-check that “Block download” is NOT enabled in sharing settings.

  • The recipient must have a Microsoft account associated with the shared email address to access the file.
